Koormanchal Academy has been established on 15 July 1991 purely for the benefit of the young minds of Almora. The School aims at the fulfillments of following objects. |

Admission & Registration | |

All pupils aspiring for admission must have themselves registered in the school office. Admissions are based on the basis of an admission test in English and Maths and also in Science for senior classes. The admission test is held in Feb/March when the school re-opens after winter vacations. Admissions to class 11th are held on the basis of the Pre Board Examinations result and an admission test in English, Maths and Science. The Birth certificate/Transfer certificate of the child must be submitted in the school office at the time of Admission Extra Curricular and Co-curricular activities |

The curriculum includes Art, Crafts, Music, Dramatics, Elocution, Sporting activities like basket ball, hockey, football, volleyball, badminton, Taekwondo, adventurous activities like trekking, camping etc. A special attention is given to fluency in English conversation and developing an analytical mind through regular workshops and interactive activities. |
