Specialty and General hospital was started by Mrs.Kiran Lata on 26th Jan 2004 with
an idea of serving the poor people in the hills of Kumaon, where
even the doctors belonging to this place didn't like to serve
their own territories.

Srivastava, the person behind all medico-social services of
this hospital did his M.D. medicine in 1977 from KG's
Medical Collage Lucknow. He has been serving Ranikhet fro
26 Years. The Hospital attracts patients from surrounding
areas of Almora, Bageshwar, Kanda, Kapkot Gairsen,
Karnprayag, Garampani, Bhikyasen and Salt etc.

Diabetic Care:
Diabetes, a global
disease having many undiagnosed patients in hills. This
hospital provides special care to diabetics by Dr. S. N. Srivastava who had his research works on Diabetes. Diabetic
camps are held in the hospital from time to time. |

Working Hours
The OPD of hospital starts from
8:30 AM to 2 P.M. and 3 PM -7 PM.
Emergency services are provided 24
hrs by the specialist doctor himself. |

Social Services
Charitable camps are conducted
by this hospital on 15th August and 26th
January every year where approximate 400-500 patients are
attended. Health checkup ECG Blood Sugar and free medicine
distribution is done in these camps.
For admitted patients who
are BPL (Below Poverty Line), special discounts are given by
