Presently tea leaves are being produced and developed in many parts of Uttaranchal including Kausani (Distt. Bageshwar), Gorakhal (District Nainital), Chanmpawat (District Champawat), and Nauti, Garisen (District Chamoli). Besides this the product is being taken  from olden farms situated in  Distt Dehradun. From Kausani the Othodex tea is also being exported to foreign countries. Organic tea is being produced in Gorakhal, Champawat and  Nauti areas.

     In Uttaranchal we have been working to find out the new lands for harvesting tea leaves.
